Commonwealth University was founded in 2019 in Saint Lucia by a group of physicians and educators committed to a better model of medical training.

Where our journey began
From the start, CUCOM built its curriculum backwards from the USMLE and residency match. Today, as part of Commonwealth University’s three colleges — Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health & Technologies — it offers a US-aligned MD and the MD + BHSM dual degree.
