Integrating bioethics across the educational continuum ensures that graduates develop not only clinical competence but also ethical reasoning, cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and a commitment to human dignity, justice, and socially accountable care.

Project Goals
The Global Consensus on Teaching Bioethics in Health Professions Education seeks to establish a shared international vision for integrating bioethics into health professions education. The initiative aims to:
- Position bioethics as a foundational pillar of all health professions curricula.
- Promote clearly defined and assessable bioethics learning outcomes across undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing professional development programmes.
- Encourage evidence-informed, learner-centred, and interprofessional approaches to teaching and assessment.
- Strengthen faculty development and institutional capacity for sustainable bioethics education.
- Support quality assurance, accreditation, scholarship, and research in bioethics education.
- Foster global collaboration while respecting cultural diversity and local contexts to advance ethical, humanistic, and socially accountable healthcare worldwide
